What You Will Learn:

The media manager will be responsible for supporting the team in the planning, implementation, execution, and maintenance of media campaigns cross channel. This position requires an individual to think strategically and to problem solve while paying meticulous attention to detail. The candidate must be someone who loves data and is hungry to learn. The media manager will work closely with brand Media Director to help build strategy, execute media plans, and aggregate data to inform insights and optimizations.

  • Assist brand Media Director in the planning, implementation (trafficking – where needed), execution and reporting of media campaigns across channel (e.g. TV, streaming, programmatic, social, search, etc.).
  • Hands on keyboard across social and search channels to help build and optimize campaigns across digital campaigns
  • Own reporting across social and search, plus managing reports from external partners
  • Make strategic recommendations based on brand briefs, industry insights, consumer research, competitive reports and past performance insights
  • Manage budgets across brands and work closely with finance teams to handle reporting
  • Collaborate with data and CRM partners to leverage 1P data for more efficient consumer targeting
  • Form strategic partnerships with publishers and affiliate partners to target new consumers
  • Identify new consumer acquisition opportunities through strategic partnerships that align with the brand identity
  • Leverage search marketing platforms to research trends and new opportunity areas
  • Work with company’s media agency of record (AOR) to ensure close collaboration on all relevant partnerships

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Brand, retailer, or digital agency experience a plus
  • Beauty industry experience a plus  
  • Analytical: The candidate must have advanced analytical skills for deep analysis of search trends, campaign performance, and KPI optimization opportunities
  • Inquisitive: Not afraid to ask questions, hungry to learn more, and passionate about
  • Strong communicator: Must be able to present complex material to a diverse group of marketers and stakeholders in both written and verbal form. Ability to interact and present to all levels of the organization, including top management
  • Collaborative: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cross-functionally between retail, marketing, CRM, agencies, and vendors

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Google AdWords, social ad manager accounts, or any DSPs
  • Proven track record driving paid media strategies and maximizing campaign optimizations
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • A facilitator and collaborator; able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in the following tools:
    • Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) 
    • Proficient in search marketing tools (e.g. BrightEdge, SEO Rush, Adthena, SA360, etc.)
    • Proficient in search ads managers (e.g. Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Pinterest, etc.)
    • Proficient in social media business managers (e.g. Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.)
    • Proficient in Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

  • Salary Range: $98,000 - $137,500 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
