As a Manager in the Skincare Lab, you will provide strategic leadership to designated  brands to ensure laboratory operations provides prompt availability of quality products for businesses that are safe and effective for mass production.  With your strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, you’ll lead skincare product development in the active skincare team.   You’ll have your pulse on the latest scientific literature, raw material technology, processing methodology, and marketing trends.  You’ll find creative and technical solutions for product development and ensure launch commitments are met with regards to lead times and costs.




  • Manage lab operations by optimizing resources, defining and respecting launch conditions, coordinating activities with other R&I partners in the US and abroad: issuing updates on any risks and ensuring product availability in line with commitments.
  • Knowledgeable and considers the importance of processing, operating, and design factors that affect skin care formulations.
  • Provides chemistry and support for formulations processes including performing analysis and implementing improvements in process cycle time, yield, and quality to maximize operations efficiency. 
  • Shows creativity and resourcefulness to come up with solutions to issues, which may arise during product development and/or in anticipation to issues which may appear in pilot plant or manufacturing.
  • Handles multiple projects simultaneously and can work under tight deadlines.
  • Ensures the safety of people/assets in compliance with quality procedures.
  • Recruit, develop and manage lab team; ensure development of know-how and expertise.




  • Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field with 8+ years relevant industry experience. Higher education preferred
  • Cross-functional experience with leading high impact projects/teams; experience leading a global project team preferred.
  • Knowledgeable or willing to delve into emulsion theory, design, and processing. 
  • Well organized and hard-working
  • Advanced communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and computer skills
