Job Title: Manager, Trade Promotion and Commercial Compliance

Section 2: Job Summary:
The Manager, Trade Promotion and Commercial Compliance is account specific and will have responsibility for MGe and LP Trade Promotion Planning and Management in APEX, Trade Promotion Management tool. This responsibility is intended to encompass the entire life-cycle of the promotion management process from the events’ inception to execution to performance review and final deduction/event validation. Responsibilities also include returns management and Post Audit review. The individual will play a key role in the pursuit of “customer payback” related to promotion expenditures deemed to be invalid and establishing customer specific protocols to avoid such invalid deductions. The individual will further insure that compliance with L’Oréal Financial Norms and Business Process protocols. This sales account team position also involves interaction with L’Oréal CPD Commercial Finance, Credit, Distribution Finance, and Internal Sales Management. Areas of Key Competency include: strong analytical skills; technical aptitude; financial acumen; interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and conversely work collaboratively in a team environment.
Section 3: Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Minimum of three years’ experience in Consumer Products preferably in a financial or account management role
Strong analytical skills
Strong computer/technical skills, with emphasis in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. TPM or SAP experience a plus.
Section 4: Judgment and Decision Making:
Supervision required is Moderate. The Manager works closely with his/her account team and divisional colleagues in the areas noted.
