POSITION: Marketplace Account Manager – eCommerce


REPORTS TO: AVP, Marketplace

LOCATION: St. Petersburg, Florida (SalonCentric National Operations Center)



The Marketplace Account Manager for eCommerce directly influences revenue by developing sellers and executing promotional strategies.  With a full understanding of all product & service category offerings, will make data driven decisions to advise sellers on growth opportunities.  Cross functional collaboration is critical to this role in ensuring all omni-channel themes and events are coordinated and executed with key stakeholders.  The ideal candidate is detail oriented, comfortable working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment and has an Omni-channel mindset.



  • Implement and utilize analytics to track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with Marketplace Managers on strategy for seller support to meet sales growth targets
  • Become immersed and educated in all product and service categories
  • Assess seller’s performance and develop strategic recommendations to improve turnover and unleash the seller’s potential
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure marketplace sellers are supported with all promotional activity and digital marketing campaigns
  • Support sellers uploading their promotions on the platform and proofing to ensure they appear as intended for customer experience
  • Pioneer and create new opportunities with sellers, identifying white space and marketing opportunities to generate sales



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Digital Marketing, Merchandising or related fields

  • Strategic thinker that can navigate multiple tasks while always putting the customer experience first
  • Excellent written and verbal negotiation skills – must be able to effectively hold external stakeholders accountable to deadlines while maintaining positive relationships
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with eCommerce Marketplace and Online B2B Retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Macy’s JCPenney, Target, etc.
  • Proven track record of achieving insight through analytic or quantitative methods
  • Experience working with Marketplace platforms such as Mirakl, CommerceHub, Sharetribe, etc. is a plus
