What You Will Learn:
As the Record to Report (R2R) Accounting Manager, you will serve as a critical finance leader responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial closing and reporting processes. In this pivotal role, you will deliver precise financial data to internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making while proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks.
You will oversee operational efficiency by monitoring KPIs, validating significant postings, and enhancing data quality through process improvements. Beyond technical oversight, you will collaborate with Group Accounting, IT, and transformation teams to implement key projects and mandates. As a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise, you will empower your team to create value, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure seamless execution of all accounting reconciliations and reporting requirements.
In terms of leadership, the Manager has solid technical accounting knowledge, is curious and doesn’t hesitate to ask questions, deep dive ensuring efficient ways of working, empowering team members to drive value creation. Beyond leading a team, the Manager remains involved in key operational tasks, such as monitoring KPIs, validating significant postings, overseeing account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting.
