US Sourcing eCommerce Enhancement – Manager

 

In this transversal role, you will be responsible for maximizing the value Indirect Sourcing team brings towards L’Oreal USA’s eCommerce targets in line with the Business stakeholder priorities and Indirect Sourcing strategic frame. This value will encompass 1) Cost savings/Gross margin improvement, 2) Sustainability targets under L’Oreal 4 The Future program, 3) New opportunities for topline growth via market innovation.

 

You will work closely with teams within Indirect Sourcing and business stakeholders to identify opportunities incremental to existing initiatives.  You will be responsible for structuring and driving transversal efforts to unlock new levels of value for the organization in the eCommerce space. You will report directly into the Vice President Indirect Sourcing – Logistics & Industrial Services.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Map interdependencies between Sourcing team scopes that touch eCommerce space; identify transversal opportunities that go beyond plans Sourcing teams already have in place and are able to unlock next levels of value
  • Manage/consolidate spend analytics related to eCommerce channels designated as priorities; manage Financial reporting around transversal initiatives
  • Conduct analysis to identify new insights from data related to multiple Sourcing categories
  • Structure and lead transversal initiatives that span & deliver value across multiple Sourcing categories
  • Scout market to bring next level of innovation in eCommerce space to Indirect Domain teams & stakeholder community – facilitate transversal Innovation days related to eCommerce capabilities with key L’Oreal partners and/or industry leaders
  • Lead research & analysis to enable US Sourcing team to adapt global eCommerce strategies / innovation for US market
  • Develop strong relationships with your key stakeholders, be recognized as a valued partner and influence business decisions

 

Your Skills:

  • Ability lead cross functional teams and influence decision
  • Strong project management, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Autonomous with high level of drive and energy
  • Knowing L’Oreal dynamic is a plus
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills

 

Your Experience / Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, category expertise, or related discipline
  • 3-6 years’ experience strategic sourcing and category management
