We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager / Business Partner for the Professional Productions Division Supply Chain function, located in New York and New Jersey. Maintain a high level of proximity to the business and employees.  Oversee recruitment, selection, integration, performance management, training and development, employee relations and all other day to day HR activities for employees based in NY/NJ while also supporting the Ohio Distribution Center.  The Human Resources Manager will work closely with the Director of HR for Supply Chain and the Supply Chain management team in developing and implementing the employee strategy, creating the culture and driving the strategy.  Leverage HR processes and drive key HR initiatives to support overall strategic business objectives.  

 

This position requires proven experience of a multi-functional/multi-state employee workforce. This position is located in the New Jersey/New York area and will travel up to 20-30% of the time.

 

JOB DUTIES:

·Employee Relations - Provide on-going coaching and counsel to Supply Chain Management team. Enforce workplace policies, including conducting investigations and recommending course of action. 

·Training/Performance Management – Develop training plan for employee population and partner with Learning and Development lead on implementation of plan;  Facilitation of training based on organizational needs

·Recruitment - Leads recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, campus, internship and MDP Program efforts, temporary employees including placing ads, coordinating and participating in assessments and conducting new-hire orientation.  Always recruiting to attract high caliber talent for Supply Chain, build network and talent pipeline; Coordinates outplacement counseling and performs exit interviews

·Talent Management - Manage succession planning and movement of Supply Chain talent.  Monitor the bench strength, identify high-potential talent, proximity to the people, manage career-pathing and management development

·Develops, recommends and implements new systems, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services provided.

·Serves as point person for employee inquiries and concerns, partnering with the leadership team and managing employee relations, contributing to overall employee engagement.

·Administers and communicates various human resources programs for all Supply Chain personnel in alignment with overall business goals and objectives, working with both local and corporate human resources teams.

·Establishes and maintains departmental and employee records and reports, analyzing information and identifying trends. 

·Annual Salary Exercise Process, Special Assignments/Ad-Hoc Projects as assigned by Director and VP, HR

·Position is based in Clark, NJ with 2-3 days a week also working out of offices in New York City

-20-30% travel to Ohio as needed

 

 

Job Requirements:

·BS degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Org Development or related field required.

·Prior Supply Chain HR experience preferred

·Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (with ability to learn internal systems).

·Experience in handling multiple locations and complex ER issues.

·High degree of executive maturity to be able to influence others

·Strong communication (verbal/written), negotiation, presentation, facilitation organization and interpersonal skills

·Must have a sense of urgency and results/service orientation with a high degree of flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness; ability to handle fast pace, multi-task and operate with ambiguity

·Ability to work with a minimal level of supervision and must have sound judgment and discretion handling sensitive human resources issues

·Compensation – In-depth understanding of policy and concepts, along with ability to articulate same.
