What we’ll do Together:  

As the Maintenance Reliability Manager for the Piscataway Manufacturing Plant, you will provide production management in the provision of direction and supervision to the technical work force, ensuring operations and provide strategy and direction to attain maximum up-time with the highest level of quality production.

What your day will look like:

  • Manage processing production technical team, including Train, coach, and develop the technical base of mechanic staff
  • Oversee and maintain processing equipment including (AM, PM and daily management)
  • Creation and execution of department maintenance and equipment reliability strategy
  • Continuously improve on equipment reliability to increase mechanical uptime (example: implement new procedures, move reactive to proactive work orders, Breakdown Analysis)
  • Procurement and Management of new equipment or spare parts
  • Lead equipment failure Root Cause Analysis exercises
  • Participate in the design, layout, installation, modification, and upgrading of processing equipment
  • Develop, implement, and maintain all necessary record systems.
  • Manage, implement, and support all policies

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Must have 5+ years of previous experience in a technical capacity with processing equipment.
  • Solid technical experience in core mechanical, electrical, and electronic field.
  • Must have the knowledge and ability to conceptualize and develop in areas of production tooling, product handling equipment, production machinery and operational methods.
  • Requires a practical working knowledge of machine shop procedures, CNC programming, CAD drafting and design, computer aided machining, machine building,  electromechanical systems, machine analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must demonstrate excellent people management skills including the ability to develop a team of individuals.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
