Opportunity to be the US Category Lead, responsible to align Brand Masterplan with US categories needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Product Development

  • Consult on Global & US-specific product development
  • Manage US asset list & model needs
  • US claims & legal validation
  • Consult on global communications book
  • Good knowledge about the US Beauty market

Content Development

    • Ensures US specificities are taken into account by the Content team
    • Is consulted by content teams to create US appropriate assets
    • Ensures local content creation and adaptation is aligned with global vision of the brand and category’s strategy

Job Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of Industry related marketing work experience (consumer package goods or beauty)
  • Experience working collaboratively with R&D on a new product or renovation
  • Experience successfully launching and managing a new product or renovation through its entire life cycle
  • Strong prior experience in Global Marketing
  • Experience managing challenging projects that may not have been successful
  • Experience or exposure to international market

  • Master at L’Oréal Competencies: Leadership, Entrepreneurial Management, Achiever, and Innovator
  • Brand Administration: create project plan according to panier portfolio gaps; in-depth knowledge of brand equity and management
  • Product Development: Partner with PD team to advise in concept writing, formula briefing and evaluation, packaging development and budget 
  • Market Research: ability to read and interpret research data
  • Leadership: Demonstration of leadership with team; support departments and customers
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • PC Proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
  • Information & Data management
  • Rigorous quantitative data analysis skills
  • Prioritization & Organization Skills
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral)
  • Strong appreciation for our business / sensitivity to métier
  • Must be professional and energetic with a positive attitude
  • Cross-cultural knowledge
