HUB (Poland and Baltics) Data Protection Officer is responsible for implementing locally Group’s personal data protection policies and processes, for employees, consumers and service providers, in compliance with local law.  

 We expect that you succeed in:


 Implementing locally the Group Data Protection Governance program

  • implementing data protection policies (in compliance with local regulations);
  • adapting procedures to ensure Group policies are effective (including privacy impact assessments, data subjects complaint handling procedures,…);
  • adapting standard data protection clauses for consumers, clients, service providers;
  • ensuring with IT security that relevant measures guarantee compliance with data protection policies and procedures
  • reporting to local Management and Group DPO on the data protection program implementation.

 

Ensuring local entity’s compliance on data protection

  • ensuring documentation of processing including maintain a data protection register;
  • cooperating with the Data Protection Authorities and act as its contact point for any related privacy issues ;
  • reviewing data protection clauses in customers’ and providers’ agreements;
  • assessing internal tools’ privacy impact and make recommendations to ensure tools’ compliance
  • informing employees’ representatives or obtain their prior approval, with HR’s support ;
  • handling data breaches’ crisis situation with Group DPO and other relevant functions;
  • ensuring that data subjects’ requests are handled adequately and in a timely manner;
  • informing country Management and Group DPO of new regulations which may impact activities.  

 

Raising internal awareness

  • training all entity’s employees;
  • communicating internally regularly;  organize events, such as a “Data Protection Day”;
  • monitoring the local evolution on data protection (participate to conferences and training)

 

What are we looking for?

If you are the right match for the position, you have experience as Data Protection Officer or Internal Controller. Furthermore, you:

  • have knowledge of local data protection law, regulations and practices;
  • have experience in working with Data Protection Authorities;
  • understand IT challenges and business stakes
  • are excellent communicator
  • ability to manage projects (very good project management)
  • ability to influence key stakeholders and manage relationships
  • ability to manage internal control processes
  • are fluent English & Polish (Russian language can be considered as added value)
