Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Defines L’Oréal strategy on categories, based on the shopper knowledge and convey it to the trade
  • Introduces assortment strategy for all channels
  • Defines revenue management strategy
  • Competition intelligence
  • Analyzes and anticipate market evolution; identify growth levers for each category and each customer/ shopper
  • Makes recommendations and influence the trade in its category management decisions: assortment, space allocation, merchandising, stores design and valorisation
  • Develops category partnerships with the trade, coordinate projects, follow up and set up corrective actions
  • Projects the market share and translate them into channels strategies and monitor them
  • Beauty Advisors management
  • Merchandising management for make up
  • Project management according to plan
  • Team management

 Required Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in category management/ business development in international company from FMCG or pharma sector
  • Knowledge of trends, practices, competition and customer behaviors
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to predict digital trends and consumer preferences, shopper knowledge
  • Strategic thinking and operational drive
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong planning and project management
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment and in a networked organisation
  • Shows Initiative, drive and enthusiasm. Stress resistance and adaptability
  • Strong leader and team player who shows great level of maturity
  • Fluency in  English
