L’Oréal Luxe Australia has a unique portfolio which combines traditional beauty, couture and alternative new luxury brands. The division delivers a unique world of beauty in three major specialisations – make-up, skincare and fragrance. In the Australian market our Head Office and Field teams work together to bring the brands Lancôme, YSL Beaute, Giorgio Armani, shu uemura, Urban Decay and the fragrances under the Prestige Collection International umbrella, to our consumers through department stores, selected pharmacies and ecommerce.
With innovation in our DNA, we have big ambitions in Brand Marketing for our fragrance business which is at the core of our strategy for growth.
About the role
In this position you will define and animate our brand strategy to contribute to continued growth for one of our leading Fragrance brands and the manage the customer relationship. Owning the portfolio's marketing strategies you will implement new product launches creating the right angle locally to build integrated, engaging brand experiences. In addition you will:
Collect and analyse consumer and market insights and competition strategies to make recommendations to management
Implement new launches, maintain growth in pillar products and animate core catalogue
Propose, implement and monitor marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences
Locally adapt international communication material (imagery, TV, digital, Social Media, point of sale)
Mobilise and work with other departments (sales, demand planning, category, etc. ) and partner agencies to build broader business strategy & meet deadlines
Make recommendations to management on the category based on own expertise of the consumer, market and competitors (launch analysis, strategy, etc.)
Manage a budget and ensure sales forecast accuracy
while nourishing the brand
You will be an experienced, hands-on Product Manager, who thrives in a fast-paced and creative culture. You will be able to appreciate on counter execution and have strong experience with eventing management. A strong networker who demonstrates entrepreneurship, you will be able to establish credibility and buy in from stakeholders at all levels of our business.
You will be comfortable interpreting data and managing to budgets with the ability to distil trends and insights into actionable activities. Previous experience working within FMCG /Consumer Goods/ Luxury products will be highly sought along with a commercially minded and flexible approach. In addition, you will also be innovative and able to manage complexity with a high level of attention to detail and remaining highly results driven.
