Production Manager

Job Summary:

 

Manage and direct the safe efficient conduct of manufacturing operations to achieve 100% attainment of the monthly production schedule while adhering to prescribed quality control standards and ensuring that inventory objectives and new product launch date schedules are met.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in major technical field or Management required, Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manage production operations to achieve attainment of the production plan by implementing the short-term fixed schedule.
  1. Supervise and train the production work force in methods and procedures that maximize the efficient operation and application of the means of production.
  1. Develop and implement improved work procedures that enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  1. Recommend/implement capital equipment improvements to enhance the capacity, efficiency, and productivity of the means of production.
  1. Observe “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP).
  1. Implement L’Oreal quality assurance procedures.
  1. Facilitate an effective employee/labor relations environment within the production unit.
  1. Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports in a timely manner
  1. Maintain a safe, clean work area and implement L’Oreal environmental programs.
  1. Where applicable, manage supporting warehouse activities.
  1. Manage and implement all L’Oreal policies and practices including, but not limited to, the Corporation’s Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, etc.
  1. Perform other duties as necessary or required.
