As a Project Manager on the New Business Integration team you will support aspects of Acquisition and Integration projects from initiation, transition planning to conclusion. You’ll assist in the accomplishment of project objectives through detailed planning, leveraging best practices, risk identification and mitigation, resource alignment, evaluation of priorities, precise communication and establishment of robust governance, progress reporting and escalation protocols.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support the project management team in delivery of Acquisition & Integration activities through involvement in project planning and initiation, execution and project closure.
  • Utilize project management skills to assist to identify and manage resource requirements, define project deliverables, identify and mitigate risks, measure outcomes and ensure effective project execution to maximize growth and value creation for these brands.
  • Have involvement within the overall project team and may have direct accountability for specific areas or functional inputs.
  • Provide project management support to accomplish work objectives.
  • Be willing and able to work in Clark, NJ with approximately 10-20% travel required (domestic and Americas) depending on deal characteristics.

Core Job Functions

  • Support project governance processes identifying key decision required and when to utilize escalation processes.
  • Support key project delivery activities to ensure a timely and successful attainment of Project Objectives.
  • Identify and analyze risks and future impact of decisions. Promote timely action in pursuit of priorities.
  • As Project Management support on assigned projects, performs a variety of duties relating to assembling, coordinating and managing cross functional teams.
  • Support aspects of complex functional transition plans until complete integration.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to functional management and personnel.
  • Support project status review and planning meetings.
  • Support development of communications and reports to Stakeholders, Business Partners, Steering Committees, and Integration Teams.
  • Support in developing functional plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Capture lessons learned for each project and convey details to AVP New Business Integration for incorporation into enterprise processes for future improvements.


  • Minimum 4 years of business experience in Project Management supporting complex or large-scale projects.
  • Experience working within cross functional teams is preferred.
  • Experience working within acquisitions & integrations teams is preferred.
  • Core business and organizational knowledge of L’Oréal is preferred
  • Experience supporting planning and implementing change management for projects is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with an ability to offer solutions/opinions within a multi- functional team dynamic.
  • Ability to facilitate discussion, progress effectively and manage audience as needed (internally and externally).
  • Ability to capture and report out day-to-day activities of matrix project teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to operate within highly demanding and ever changing project environment with focus on flawless execution.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree required.
  • This role is located in Clark, NJ.
  • This role may travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
