Receiving Lead

We are seeking a Warehouse, Receiving Lead to work day shift hours Monday through Friday at our Portland, Oregon warehouse. This full time position is located at 11419 SE Foster Road Portland, OR 97266.


As a Receiving lead, you will be the role model for all others on the shift as you work alongside them and ensure that the receiving processes are being completed efficiently and accurately.  This includes safety, on time receipt and put-away of receipts, complete on time receipt of returns, achieve productivity and labor cost targets, establish high performing team and housekeeping that is tour ready condition at all times.  You will mentor and train new employees and be the “right hand” to the Operations Manager.  An excellent work ethic, keen eye for detail and strong people skills are a must!



  • Mentor and train new employees
  • Ensures receiving team members abide by safety procedures and use proper protective equipment. 
  • Administers all location replenishments
  • Monitors and ensures the daily cycle counts; scheduling all incoming freight; and delivering all incoming packages/letters
  • Maintains tracking and controlling inbound manifest
  • Oversees the returns/credits process
  • Manages the daily productivity information for Dashboard
  • Ensures the monthly reports completion
  • Responsible for achieving on time and accurate receipt and put-away of receipts
  • Strives to achieve continuous improvement in productivity and labor costs by setting expectations, providing feedback, establishing improved processes and driving change
  • Monitors daily housekeeping of the facility
  • Coordinates with leadership staff the movement of employees thru-out the facility to achieve service and cost objectives
  • Performs other duties and tasks as needed upon request.     
  • Oversee on time and accurate completion of customer returns
  • Administers on time and accurate breakdown of pre-packs requested by Purchasing, as required.




  • High School diploma
  • Requires the ability to support a team to accomplish critical and timely objectives
  • Ability to handle numbers and basic math
  • Excellent work ethic a must
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision
  • Strong people skills and the ability to lead a team
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to keep up with a faced paced  environment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Experience using an RF scanner desired
  • Two years of forklift experience using sit down and stand up forklifts.
  • Must be flexible, organized, detail oriented, and a change agent with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to wear protective eyewear, footwear, hand protection (gloves) and safety vests
