Regional Manager Travel Retail (w/m)


Arbeitsplatz Außendienst / Airport Stores, 70% Field time, 30% Office time




Responsible for net sales, retail sales & ranking in country. Manage & coach Regional trainers and BAs in achieving their sales objectives & ensure corporate objectives are achieved.  Ensure resources allocated are maximized & budget respected. Report and manage budget (consolidate sales report, competition information, trends, Bas activity, travel budget). Strengthen retailers’ partnership. Increase customer satisfaction: Set up Mystery Shopping action plan & ensure the roll out.


Key Responsibilities:


     Regional Sell in &  Sell out

     Business Analysis

     Strategic retailer & shop staff relationships

     Negotiate additional spaces with retailers

     Maintain counter quality &  merchandising

     Maintain Budget

     Monitor stock


     Recruit &  integrate BAs

     Manage /motivate /evaluate &  coach teams

     Fanatise Bas to connect on Air L’Oréal


     Provide analysis & assessments per shop / platform

     Consolidate whole sales, competition information, BAs activity

     Follow, analyze, review Mystery Shopping results & set up action plan



Key performance indicators:

A.   Sales performance  60%

     Regional sell-in & sell out target achievement

     Regional  ranking / Market share

B.   Team management  40%

     Regional Mystery Shopper results & evolution

     Regional  BA/ RT / Team leader turnover rate (measure integration success & quality of recruitment)

     E-learning : % of Bas connection / % of individual connection

C.   EVALUATION : twice a year




 Technical and professional competences required:

     Retail store management

     managing multiple freestanding retail store locations

     Demonstrated success in driving sales by leading and motivating a team

     Excellent business acumen and analysis skills

     Highly resourceful, flexible and ability to solve problems in a timely manner

     Ability to collaborate with various business partners effectively

     Strong written and verbal communication skills

     Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make effective decisions

     Ability to grasp home office initiatives and execute directives with minimal supervision
