SUMMARY:

Support Store Development through project execution & purchase order creation, participate in real estate activity and vendor relationships, analyze the evaluation and implementation of processes and workflow operations and make recommendations on ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support real estate activities and vendor relationships via phone, email and in person
  • Manages new vendor set up and account information
  • Create and manage PO’S for legal and Real Estate Company, rent, CAM and Repair & Maintenance
  • Update & Maintenance of Tools: Ex. Real Estate, Prolease, Sitewise among others
  • Coordinate store activities with Facility Source team
  • Partner with Corporate finance partners monthly to reconcile capital requests versus committed
  • Support with Business Licenses, Permits & Utilities
  • Support on Store Development & Retail Repairs Special Projects
  • Provide alarm codes for all new hires
  • Performs general clerical duties, including but not limited to implementing and maintaining a departmental filing system, sending faxes, e-mails, mail, and other office communication, making and distributing copies
  • Support Project managers on New Stores/Remodels/Relocations/Closing
  • Collaborate with National Operating Center departments and identify efficiencies and cost savings
  • Travel required 0 - 10%

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:

  • Business Degree in related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in store operations, system support or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail; ability to produce highly accurate documents and work products in a demanding environment; takes pride in his/her work.
  • Extremely well organized; ability to balance competing demands in a very busy environment
  • Highly proactive; takes initiative to begin and complete projects; masterful at follow-up and tracking work projects; anticipates and executes tasks before being asked
  • Flexible to accommodate last minute changes and demands from multiple sources
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word and Excel; Proficient and comfortable with technology and troubleshooting routine technological issues
  • Ability to use normal office equipment regularly (computer, printer etc)
  • Ability to lift 10lbs
  • Able to sit for more than 80% of the workday
  • Able to use computer and various office equipment for the majority of the workday
