What You Will Learn:

 

We're looking for a versatile print, digital Sr. Graphic Design manager to join the Kiehl’s Since 1851 Creative team based in New York City. Our multi-disciplinary team is responsible for setting the creative expression for across the globe. This role would be focused on our point of Key Visual, in-store signages, digital assets, social content creation support for the 360 campaign execution.

 

Conceptualize and develop innovative designs that maintain Brand consistency Ensure all concepts and innovative design ideas are cutting edge and maintain Brand consistency. Work with the cross-functional teams responding to artwork briefs Liaise with relevant internal and third parties (agencies) to develop artwork. Collate the correct assets from the team; i.e. product copy and product claim. Adhere to all creative timelines and ensure artwork is released in a timely manner. Provide creative input for photo shoots, social media campaigns and PR. Work effectively with agencies to deliver on creative asset requirements.

 

  • Develop and execute creative visual assets for our customer and brand experience– all which are aligned with a creative brief, strategy, Creative Expression and Brand Promise
  • Collaborate on projects with a creative team (including other designers, writers, project managers and creative directors) to generate creative signage, Key visual concepts, to meet marketing and business strategies.
  • Integrate creative feedback to advance the work. Receives feedback and adapts to change in the spirit of collaboration.
  • Concurrently handle multiple projects and campaigns, so should have strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Work closely with Digital and social creative to create big idea presentation for product and seasonal campaigns and present at the weekly creative review.
  • 360 thinker to support 360 campaign needs.
  • Design internal meeting presentations.

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design/Marketing or equivalent job-related experience
  • 5-7 years of experience with a design firm, advertising agency or marketing department
  • A strong design foundation based in concept development, typography, composition and layout with experience and/or interest in illustration, animation, retail experience
  • An innovative problem-solver and strategic thinker who exhibits a relentlessly creative thought process
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
  • Outstanding communication skills—ability to eloquently and passionately present a creative point of view and design direction
  • Strong Organizational skills and Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple small- and large-scale projects and campaigns
  • Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, MS powerpoint (Internal creative team will teach PPT if the candidate is not familiar)
  • Aftereffects, video editing, iPhone video shooting skillset are optional, but would be preferred.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $100,400 - $143,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
