POSITION: Senior Manager, Data Driven Experience (DDX)

REPORTS TO: Director, Data Driven Experience, Customer Journey Experience

LOCATION: St. Petersburg, Florida (SalonCentric National Operations Center)



The Senior Manager of DDX directly influences omni-digital revenue & profitability by setting the strategic vision of the SalonCentric audience strategy, supporting the Director and AVP in the global strategy. This role will focus on customer lifecycle marketing plan & journeys. This position manages the strategy for the area by partnering with 3rd party vendors, Creative, Marketing, Analytics, eCommerce and Technology. Responsible for creating and managing omni-touchpoint journeys in the customer lifecycle. Setting the strategic vision, process creation, data analysis and technical trouble shooting are major functions within this role. The ideal candidate is a big picture thinker who understands the details of the people, process, technology and customer behavior needed to execute their strategies. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment, and always has an omni-channel mindset. They are a data-driven, strategic thinker that can navigate multiple platforms and functional business units while always putting the customer experience first.  


  • Build data-driven omni-strategy and initiatives across email, SMS, push, and in-app notifications
  • Brainstorm and implement lifecycle journeys including new acquisition tactics to continue to grow active and engaged customer base
  • Build unified processes and communication plans across SalonCentric and brand partner sponsored programs including NPS, loyalty, education, customer behaviors and overall customer lifecycle
  • Partner with 3rd party agency to monitor competitors and other retailers, staying up to date on best practices. Keep informed of CRM trends, tools & technologies
  • Plan and communicate targeted, journey-based marketing campaigns to drive sales and conversion
  • Work with Campaign Operations to brainstorm and plan strategic DDM & CRM programs for brands
  • Deliver and present ad hoc analysis requests both internally and to our brand partners

  • Comfortable operating in the gray; problem solving, technical troubleshooting, defining new processes as the business dictates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accelerate multiple projects simultaneously while remaining detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal skills – must be able to provide clear direction and critical feedback to both Marketing Technology (IT) and Creative Services to ensure all aspects of customer messaging functions, is compelling and visually impactful
  • Effectively mobilize others to achieve results, hold external stakeholders accountable to deadlines, and build & maintain strong cross-functional relationships
  • Lifecycle marketing and exposure to CRM required
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, and PowerBI is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or related fields preferred
