Job Title:  Senior Manager, Digital eRetail (Pureology & Mizani)

Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager of Digital will be responsible for authoring all content, digital marketing, paid media content and developing a cohesive go-to-market plan within both Mizani and Pureology for their e-retailers.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
  • 5+ years experience with digital content paid media and/or e-retailer experience. Experience with the professional beauty industry and store/chain partnerships is preferred.
  • Strong presentation, communication, creative and critical thinking skills
  • Beauty obsessed and loves content and works well with people across cross-functional feeds
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in database management and excel
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to create creative briefs to brand freelances based on individual e-retailer needs
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a self-directed position
  • Ability to assess strategic customer needs and build alliances
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Ability to manage budgets

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

eRetailer Digital Lead

  1. SalonCentric.com
    • Leads DDX Experience and execution for both Pureology and Mizani in all things digital for SalonCentric
    • Responsible for monthly refreshes to the website
    • Banner briefs
    • Work cross-functionally with the education team and marketing team on PBC.com article and content with artists for both brands to make sure monthly 1-2 new articles are live
    • SalonCentric.com onsite merchandising and content strategy development, always on monthly updates and work with partner on create best-class experience
  2. SalonCentric Social
    • Manage both Mizani and Pureology monthly FB/IG Lives and seeding moments with professional influencers
    • Concept ideas with education and marketing team of monthly Lives
    • Coordinate dates with SC team
    • Brief Artist members, manage budget, and execute on live date to make sure goes flawless
    • Must be comfortable in social and digital platforms such as stream FB Lives, IG Lives, and FB/IG
    • Takeovers
      • Must have good eye for elevated good content and work with artist team on assuring content is following brand and LUSA best-practices
      • Work with SC team on professional influencer seeding and content creation around key love bet moments
  3. SalonCentric DDX
    • Develop SalonCentric CRM Strategy; segmentation, sends, opportunities to drive incrementality, acquisition opportunities
    • Up to 5 SalonCentric monthly assets
    • E-mail brief creation (3-4 assets per week)
    • Data analytics
    • Ongoing optimizations based on metrics
    • Calendar creation and management, will integrate with SC DDX leads and work closely optimize relationship strong DDX for both brands
  4. Professional Media Campaigns (as needed)
    • Agency management
    • Omni media participation
    • Trade print planning, execution, and creative
  5. Consumer Content Opportunities
    • Ratings and reviews across Sephora, Ulta and Pureology.com
    • Create dashboard of current reviews monitor strategy and briefing of review campaigns through Influenster
    • Lead reward style briefings and campaigns for influencer content as it pertains to e-retailers and content, ability to align brand and campaign goals to influencer content briefs is key
  6. Consumer Awareness Campaigns
    • Paid media when it comes to Ulta and Sephora.com, project management, ability to fill out creative matrix brief work with AVP, Cross-functional Sephora leads, on paid media campaigns both social, IG, and influencer
    • Awareness campaign refreshes and briefings as needed
    • Agency management
    • Omni media participation
    • Brief development
    • Analytics and optimizations
  7. Sephora & Ulta.com: Pureology & Mizani
    • Manage monthly e-retailer banner requests and content updates
    • Update copy and A+ content when needed, ability to reach out to digital team and influencers for additional content and AVP for gaps and project manage timing of content so it comes in close
    • Work closely with Sephora & Ulta e-retail LUSA lead on constantly optimizing content for Pureology on Ulta and Sephora and Mizani on Ulta
    • Strategically brief creative assets needs to digital creative freelancers and track projects to make sure finalized
    • Ability to manage product set up page form and work with cross-functional education, DMI, and marketing teams to make sure content
    • Manage calendar of all big moments and input into master brand calendar so we understand focus points
    • Lead any paid media creative matrix form with AVP of Digital and influencer marketing to support the Ulta & Sephora business
    • Work with Assistant Vice President of Digital on how to strategically lead on digital capabilities to grow the business, innovate and come to room with new ideas and opportunities
    • Run Organic Instagram/Facebook/TikTok Brand requests with e-retailers, keep close content calendar on full year so it is integrated in brand omni-content and marketing calendar
    • Update new product description forms and content needs for both brands
