Job:                            Senior Product Manager

Reports to:                 Marketing Manager: International Bands  

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Orchestrate the launches and push growth of pillar products using their own product, market and consumer expertise, to contribute to continued growth for the brand and the consumer relationship.

·          Strategy planning: guide brand development and manage portfolio priorities

·          Propose and monitor marketing mix strategies (IMC/Digital/Retail) to build integrated engaging consumer brand experiences

·          Implement new launches, maintain growth on pillar products and implement 360 animations

·          Advertising / Media: contribute to local adaptation of creative and drive media recommendation

·          Promotional activities / Trade Marketing: supervise plan with commercial

·          Market knowledge: Manage the collection and analysis of market data for the category and share findings with management and partners.

·          Consumer knowledge: listen to consumer feedback insights, analyse data and make recommendations to management

·          Ensure efficient relationships / interactions with other departments (commercial team, operational team, supply chain, business development, training etc)

·          Manage budgets and highlight issues

·          Manage PR & Digital in collaboration with Divisional colleagues

·          Manage the forecasting for your brands

·          Work closely with creative, media and other agencies to ensure all jobs are managed efficiently

·          Develop and manage Product Manager

·          Liaising with the international team in Paris

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

·       B Com, Advertising or IMM 3 year tertiary education (minimum)

·       Prior work experience in FMCG marketing, sales or advertising beneficial

·       Finance (P&L, price & PRI settings, sales forecast knowledge)

·       Knowledge of new media technologies with a strong focus on digital

·       Knowledge of products, market trends and consumers

·       Research data analysis

·       Knowledge of local Retail channel

·       Minimum 4 years’ experience at a similar level

·       Previous people management experience mandatory
