We have a suitable opportunity in the function of Marketing for the position of Senior Product Manager (Make Up). This is an individual contributor role where one has to collect and analyse consumer and market insight data and make recommendations, implement new launches and maintain growth in pillar product. The candidate should have minimum 6 plus years of brand marketing and sales experience. The location of the job will be in Mumbai and candidates from FMCG, Consumer Goods or companies catering to beauty industry will be given advantage. The location of the job will be in Mumbai.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • To define the strategic direction and the 3 year marketing plan on the lips portfolio and guide portfolio priorities to maximise growth and imagery
  • To implement local and international launches in the lip portfolio and create strong Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) plans for key animations

  • To manage the lips budget (sales forecast, price strategy and profitability for the brand)

  • To lead, own and execute the selective channel for the brand MNY, ensure implementation of strong animations and Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) plans, partner with the sales team to develop the right assortment, beauty advisors and animations for the right store

  • To develop and lead the PR, influencer strategy and execution plan for MNY

 

Key Deliverables:


  • To achieve the net conso and brand equity targets on the lips portfolio
  • To develop Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and plan to drive +80% growth for Color Sensational Lipstick

  • To grow Color Show by 20% and increase preference vs Enrich statin in 1000 general trade counters and semi-selective through strong animations and launch plans

  • To drive offtake growth of +25% in selective channel through development and execution of strong animation and engagement platforms (10 stagings per year / 4 Integrated Marketing Communications led)

  • To deliver the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’S) on the counter execution team, superior shopper experience vs key competition (measured through pre and post) on counters

  • To drive influencer strategy across top media platforms and work with PR agency to increase AVE by 1.5x by leveraging properties, sponsorship and make up platforms             


Key Competencies:

  • Experience in brand management, business understanding and analytical skills

  • Worked with agencies across PR or digital

  • Worked in Sales / SDM roles in the manned retail channel

  • Good knowledge of beauty and make up trends

  • Attention to detail and operational excellence

  • Stakeholder management, inspires and energizes team

  • Drives alignment, interacts effectively, demonstrates entrepreneurship and Innovates


Key Relationships:

  • Internal Interactions – Marketing, Selective Sales, Supply Chain, Consumer and Market Insights, DMI, Regulatory and Zone teams

  • External Interactions – Agencies (PR, Digital and Ad Agency)

Education:

  • MBA in Marketing
