Position Summary:

The Senior Treasury Analyst is key to support the D2C payment manager and the Cash Management Senior Manager.  The D2C payment management group plays an important role in the omni-channel journey in our D2C ecommerce websites, retail stores and any other place where we accept payment from our customers.  The cash management group is key in ensuring the security of our flows and access to the liquidity to operates L’Oreal USA Inc.  Regarding the D2C aspect of the role, the Senior Treasury Analyst will support the team working on building the future of payment acceptance and fraud management for L’Oreal USA.  The payment management group works cross functionally in all parts of the business including IT, Finance, Digital, Accounting and Marketing teams, covering both the US and Canada.  The role has responsibilities that include intimacy with technical processes, consideration of financial recording, exploring the frontiers of payments and building and running the processes to make it all happen.  When it comes to the cash management aspect of the role, the Senior Treasury Analyst will support the day-to-day cash management, interacting with various functions such as Tax, Payroll and Benefits and with our banking partners.  In both payment management and cash management the Treasury of L’Oreal USA works in close collaboration with the Group treasury team.

Position Accountabilities:

D2C payment management

  • Execute operational management of the payment acceptance framework
  • Monitor KPI and produce reporting and analysis packages
  • Interface with external partners to troubleshoot issues
  • Analyze existing processes for value creation opportunities
  • Contribute to efficiency initiatives to leverage technology to solve problems
  • Build expertise in the payment acceptance landscape
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of fraud screening
  • Monitor the regulatory environment evolution of the payment industry

 

Cash management

 

  • Assist in cash management positioning and reporting
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting
  • Assist in bank management, account administration and compliance
  • Analysis and administration of banking fees.

 

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience
  • Consumer products industry experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft excel, particularly with data analytics
  • Familiarity and interest in digital payments and providers
  • Interest and background of understanding technical processes
  • Rigorous and detailed oriented in execution and analysis
  • Intellectually curious and creative problem solver
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

About the Team: L’Oreal USA Treasury Team has a unique dynamic, working closely with the Group Treasury in Paris and with our banking partners.  The team reports to the CFO of L’Oreal North America and functionally to the Zone treasurer of the Americas.
