What You Will Do:

Sr Brand Managers are responsible for increasing the top and bottom-line revenue stream of the PPD Brands by driving sales in SalonCentric stores and increasing market penetration in partnership with the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of PPD Brand Development. The Sr Manager of Brand Development will partner with the AVP Brand Development and their assigned PPD Brand Marketing teams on strategic initiatives with respect to brand positioning, visual merchandising, in-store activations, product launches, promotions, social media, internal/external customer education and digital initiatives, while ensuring that their SalonCentric business partners and PPD Brand team is aligned and able to provide feedback for success.  This role will partner and collaborate with SalonCentric business partners in order to strengthen the relationships of the PPD Brands with SalonCentric and our stylist community. The Sr Manager of Brand Development will be responsible for Brand Performance of their designated brand(s) of responsibility nationally by developing Brand Strategies in order to gain incremental growth while identifying additional business opportunities for PPD Brands. The Sr Manager of Brand Development will foster Omni-channel partnerships with the Street team within their assigned brand(s) to ensure consistency of PPD Brands across all channels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and foster relationships with SalonCentric business partners, store teams, internal PPD Store team and PPD Brand team.
  • Identify trends, wins and opportunities related to their assigned brand(s); collaborate with brand teams and SalonCentric business partners to create brand resources aimed at creating solutions to drive sales and education within stores.
  • Support the execution of assigned brand(s) launches and initiatives nationally including in store activations, Shop & Learn events, brand resources and evaluate ROI for assigned brand(s) programs, activations, promotions and in store and digital activities.
  • Demonstrated agility with business while having the ability to see the big picture and proactively identify and respond to business changes in for their brands.  Readily shifts roles and priorities to meet these changes.
  • Tasked to communicate vision, execute strategy and courageously provide feedback to aid in the growth of the business for PPD and assigned brand(s).

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in sales/business development within a big box retail and/or chain model, preferably with beauty, professional salon products or retail background.
  • Experience with store merchandising.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including Power Point, Excel and Word.
  • Ability and interest in extensive travel (Up to 50%)
  • An undergraduate degree or commensurate professional experience is required.  

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contagious enthusiasm for the Professional Beauty Industry.
  • Experience with Omni-channel distribution models
  • High sense of urgency, accountability, and organization.

Zone 2 $101,400- $142,00

Zone 3 $92,900- $129,100

(The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
