We have a suitable opportunity in L’Oréal India Supply Chain team for the fixed term role of Supply Chain Data Analytics Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Data Pillar of the India Supply chain across the divisions and sub supply chain functions like Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Distribution Planning, Order Management etc. You will be strategizing the data needs for Supply Chain for future, setting up Data Centre of Excellence (COE), Working with IT to develop the right tools to pool & analyze data & Implement data governance, processes to ensure quality and right frequency of data capture. You should have 4-5 years of professional experience with FMCG. The location of the job will be Mumbai.

Location –Mumbai HO

This is a fixed term project – 6 Months only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define data vision/requirements for supply chain for data analytics to enable review, anticipate and predict outcomes based on data
  • Establish the use cases, identify gaps in availability, frequency and granularity of data and create the roadmap for filling these gaps.
  • Work closely with IT team to develop processes to capture data from different sources, in automated ways, Cleanse unstructured and ambiguous data, establish automated interfaces to ingest data to tools and systems that use the data
  • Define & Enforce the Data governance and Data Quality metrics
  • Continuously identify new internal and external data / sources to support different initiatives on SC digitization
  • Ensure Product Master data creation is done as per the process and continuously improve the quality of Product Master data
  • Train end users on new reports & dashboards, driving a culture of data & analytics inside supply chain
  • Create a frame to continuously evaluate the need for different indicators/insights for the SC functions to run different decision-making forums OR take daily/weekly decisions and automate the process to get these data/insights
  • Monitor and drive-up usage of automated reports.
  • Ensure the publishing frequency, quality of output, data integrity and process corrections

Key Deliverables:

  • Error free & timely data stream in O9 (Demand Planning application)
  • Set up of Data Centre of Excellence to ensure high quality data for use cases of Supply Planning, Order Management & DRP
  • Data Governance roll out to ensure the timely flow of data to critical applications
  • Elixpedia roll out (Ensure high quality of Supply Chain Master Data)

  • Comfort in analyzing complex, high-volume-dimensionality data from varying sources.
  • Conceptual thinker to imagine the overall frame, governance & process quality
  • Strong analytical skills to understand key data and information to drive processes, interactions and decisions;
  • A process-oriented individual who builds action plans drives for timely completion of tasks
  • Able to extract data from or link different systems and use excel & Power BI to show the right Information
  • Persistent to clarify and close issues, following up on actions planned
  • Strong coordinator internally and externally

Experience & Education:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Planning, Customer Service & eCommerce Supply Chain
  • Preferably with knowledge in SAP, Data warehousing systems
  • Education: MBA in Supply chain/Data
