Manage the Supply Chain Planning in the one of the Divisions for L’Oréal South Africa, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the Demand & Supply Management function:

  • Forecasting and supply planning with Market Supply & Logistics (MSL)
  • Catalogue Management and reduction of SKUs
  • Master data management and information management (database products)
  • Ensures the availability of division products and items to customers
  • Ensures the quality and inventory levels in line with objectives
  • Responsible for planning and operational monitoring of sub-contractors
  • Ensures correct stock and manages imbalances in the DC
  • Ensures the correct and accurate transmission of procurement files to the MSL teams.
  • Ensures accurate and timely feed back to the Division and other Stakeholders on availability and risk to service to customers
  • Managing and Driving the forecast process within the Division, to ensure on time and accuracy of the forecast each month
  • Ensure a strong collaborative culture between Supply Chain and the Business, dotted line to Division General Manager and part of Division Mancom


  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Supply Chain or Operations environment (Luxury or FMCG industry preferable
  • Advanced computer literacy, with emphasis on MS Excel skills
  • Advanced Analytics and problem solving
  • Analytical and systemic work style
  • Capacity to monitor projects
  • Ability to lead and enable teams to deliver high performance and KPI Objectives
  • Is highly collaborative and fosters a culture of collaboration within the overall division
Customs and Consumer Centric orientated service Orientated Operations and Supply Chain business acumen Highly Collaborative and have proven track record of being collaborative and working across functions within the Divisions and across the Supply Chain and with key Able to identify supply risk and work out mitigation plan independently Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (fluency in English) Presentation skills Accounting / Controlling expertise advantageous Management Software (SAP preferable) Ability to build and maintain relationship across multiple functions within the organisation Supply chain qualification or equivalent


  • Degree in Marketing or similar
  • 3-5 years supply chain experience
  • Computer literate on MSOffice – Excel proficiency MANDATORY
