What we will do together:

As the Sustainable Packaging Certification Analyst, you will play an instrumental role in supporting our brands in their mission to achieve sustainable packaging certifications!

With your tactful interpersonal skills, systematic project management, and sustainable pack design skills you will organize and coordinate information between internal L’Oreal packaging, corporate sustainability teams, and brands, alongside external certification bodies and L’Oreal packaging suppliers.

Through delivering packaging data within timelines put forth by sustainable packaging certification bodies you will support in meeting business-based deadlines.

You will support a diverse range of L’Oreal products and interface with brands across Luxury, Consumer, Professional, and Active Cosmetics divisions in North America!

What you’ll need:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
    • Specialization, certificate, or experience in Sustainability ideal
    • Minimum internship or 1 year of project management experience


    • Must manage project tracking and documentation follow-ups independently, and self-manage day-to-day activities to deliver deadlines set forth by brands, corporate sustainability teams, and certification bodies
    • Ability to follow and report progress on established timelines is a must
    • Sense of ownership to a degree that candidate can identify and implement process improvements and troubleshoot gaps in data availability to provide quality information within set timelines


    • Familiarity with packaging materials and basic sustainability design aspects
    • Appetite to master L’Oreal material vigilance requirements set forth by L’Oreal material science experts – including L’Oreal requirements for packaging made with recycled materials


    • Appetite to master L’Oreal packaging specification and data tools
    • Strong PC skills and data analysis; MS Office, PowerPoint software


    • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and spoken)
    • Ability to anticipate and recognize risks, analyze data, identify root causes, draw conclusions, and deliver solid reports with proposed solutions when necessary to enable key leadership and stakeholders to make quality decisions
    • Ability to collaborate with a variety of teams and functions – including internal marketing and technical managers, and external consultants and suppliers
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities
    • Comfortable presenting information, as project updates may be periodically expected by L’Oreal leadership – including the lead Corporate Sustainability Center of Excellence Director for North America, head of Operations North America, head of Packaging North America
