This role at The Body Shop® will support our Product Managers within our Global Marketing team. You will help to develop international marketing campaigns and will be placed within one of our main categories such as Bath and Body, Make-up, Gift or Fragrance. 

You will be responsible for your own live projects within the team, with exposure to senior management. To ensure campaigns are successful and integrated, you will also be working closely with other functions across the business.  As an international role, any new product development (NPD) will need to be implemented across all the cultures in The Body Shop markets.



  • Project Management - creating and implementing new product launch strategies, including adaptation of international product concepts/advertising to the UK and international  market
  • Creative strategy – support campaigns with innovative ideas
  • Brainstorming – discuss exciting new ingredients, reviewing product submissions, evaluating the beauty market and finalising product names and packaging
  • Research -  managing research processes for adaptations or development of advertising/product concepts
  • Data analysis - extracting the correct data for analysis and having the ability to interpret and relay the data
  • Designing - briefing artwork agencies on designs for product packaging and point of sale (POS) materials
  • Competitor Analysis - research competitors to help create concepts and briefs that complement our existing portfolio of products, and will a gap within the market
  • Trend Research – analysing trends within the beauty industry as well as outside, to inspire new product development (NPD)
  • Formula Analysis - reviewing fragrances & formulas, providing recommendations to management
  • Budgeting - forecasting costs accurately, tracking spend and saving costs where appropriate


  • Strong presentation skills - verbal & visual (includes strong communication skills, as well as the ability to persuade and convince an audience)
  • Managing complexity (multiple projects will run parallel so the ability to prioritise and organise your time is key)

  • You must be completing a placement as part of your degree
