Vice President of Global Integrated Communications

We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Global Communications who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. 

In partnership with SVP, this position creates and oversees the implementation of the global communication strategy, brand and philanthropic programming. Develop strategies to increase awareness, amplify relevance and engagement offline and online driving traffic to retail and YTTP.com. This role oversees all communications, public relations, social media, influencer and affiliate marketing, events, editorial, and issue/crisis management.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create annual global communications strategies, programs, and events that support brand values, build awareness and equity, support sales objectives and strategic business goals 

  • Develop and execute the strategies for owned, earned and paid for the US, AUS, and UK markets

  • Identify and execute creator/influencer partnerships to build brand awareness and drive advocacy both locally and internationally 

  • Lead and expand newly created ambassador program, Pros To The People to drive trust, credibility, and awareness

  • Work cross-functionally with Growth, E-commerce, Performance, Brand and Product marketing teams to drive business initiatives for core and newness

  • Manage PR agencies both locally and internationally

  • Write, develop and distribute communications tools, guidelines and content for our global markets 

  • Develop initiatives and create brand storytelling that will reinforce messaging on YTTP’s values and commitment to supporting organizations that are fighting for climate change, social justice, and gender equity

  • Develop programming that will help to position the brand as both an industry leader and revolutionaries in our own category as well as continue to establish brand Founders as KOLs

  • Develop a strategy for our social impact initiatives that connects the brand vision, product, and our non-profit partners through meaningful storytelling that brings value to our community and amplifies our brand DNA

  • Foster relationships externally with members of the media at all levels, from micro-influencers to editors-in-chiefs, leaving a lasting positive impression on those we work with

  • Streamline existing processes for work/develop new initiatives that both encourage change and efficiency, while providing structure and stability for the teams

  • Define monthly/yearly/etc goals for the team that help to advance overreaching company goals, ensuring clarity and delegation among team members

  • Create disruptive experiences 

  • Lead and develop a team with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • The position requires 15+ years of communications experience

  • Skincare experience is a must

  • Network of agencies, creators, influencers, and influencer managers/agents is a must

  • A strong track record of running teams and an aptitude to be a key partner in a team that is charged for high growth and expansion

  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior team members

  • Digital Comms experience as well as social media usage with heavy emphasis on tik tok + social analytical tools

  • Must have an understanding of the media landscape globally (paid, owned, and earned)

  • Knows how to build and foster relationships

  • International experience is a must

  • Must have experience leading socially vocal brands

  • Proactive, strategic, and entrepreneurial approach to the role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities

  • Ability to be flexible and agile with constant changes and time restraints

  • Team player mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Must align with brand values and have an activist mentality

  • Have an understanding of industry trends and best in class practices
