We are seeking a highly technical, motivated, curious and entrepreneurially driven candidate to join our dynamic and fast-paced Digital IT Content, Innovation & Services team. This individual will be responsible for designing, validating and overseeing execution of the technical solutions and architecture in the Content and Innovation areas. This role will provide opportunities to get exposed to latest technology trends, work with global teams and collaborate with various technical partners. You will also become a member of our strategic Americas Architect Alliance team.
Work with global technical counterparts who maintain L’Oreal Website Factory (WSF) program, which uses Sitecore as a platform for Brands websites.
Lead and provide technical guidance for initiatives on Americas sites on this program.
Involvement in Sitecore upgrade projects.
Participate in Problem Action Committee to provide technical guidance where needed for Site outages/P1 incidents and their remediation plans.
Provide technical oversight to approved vendor partners for the development and maintenance of websites on WSF program.
Lead Sitecore and content site related initiatives outside of the WSF program for the Americas zone.
This may require new site development on Sitecore by using similar best practices used in WSF program.
Work with infrastructure team for setting up Sitecore on Azure hosting.
Maintain legacy sites on AWS until they are migrated to Azure or WSF program. Drive migration planning for such initiatives.
In order to perform above responsibilities, you should have below experience:
At least 12 years of experience in a related capacity of website development.
4-5 years of experience as a developer, with progressive movement to Architect role.
2-3 years experience with Javascript, some experience with HTML and CSS needed to have an understanding of how front-end works.
At least 4-5 years of experience with Sitecore. Should have worked with Sitecore versions from 8.2 to 10.1.
Exposure to the following principles required:
Helix principals in developing modern websites.
Using Sitecore SXA for multi-site setup.
Concept of and master site and localization.
Understanding of hosting infrastructure on MS Azure in PaaS setup. Knowledge of AWS and setting up Sitecore on Containers a plus.
Deep understanding of Sitecore backend with respect to pipelines and customization to Sitecore.
Understanding of Sitecore performance from backend and front-end side.
