A Day in the Life

As a Controlling Intern at L'Oréal Romania within the Consumer Products Division, reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager CPD, you will be immersed in the dynamic world of financial analysis and reporting for our multi-brand portfolio. You'll gain hands-on experience contributing to key financial processes, working closely with a supportive team, and directly impacting the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the success of a leading beauty company. You will be working on interesting projects, developing your analytical skills and contributing to the overall success of the Consumer Products Division in Romania.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Participate in the preparation of various financial reports and analyses, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and contributing to the understanding of business performance.
• Data Analysis & Verification: Utilize existing financial systems to extract and verify data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures. You will learn to identify trends and insights from data, contributing to informed decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective ways of working.
• Compliance & Procedures: Ensure adherence to L'Oréal's internal financial procedures and regulations.

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual currently pursuing a degree in economics or a related field. They possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They are a team player, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• P&L Management: Basic understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and key financial metrics.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis techniques, particularly using Microsoft Excel.
• Financial Systems: Familiarity with financial systems and tools.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
