Job Summary: This strategic role is responsible for translating the L’Oreal USA Data Strategy vision into a business driver by leading strategy and planning across L’Oreal brands, and co-leading the activation of data-driven customer experiences.  This role will have the opportunity to implement and evolve one of the most cutting edge, large scale personalized marketing ecosystems in the industry. 

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • This role will set the vision and lead a LUSA Known Customer Data Strategy, CRM Analytics practice and community across L’Oreal USA
  • Sets LUSA Data goals (revenue plus data acquisition) and accomplishes goals through partnership across L’Oreal portfolio of brands
  • Owns and evolves LUSA relationship with outside agencies
  • Designs and oversees operating model for CRM campaigns and loyalty programs to ensure brands are able to execute and achieve their business goals
  • Develops and oversees CRM analytics practice for campaign results and to partner with CMI on creating new customer insights or segmentation
  • Leads upskilling and best practice sharing at all levels for both strategic and pragmatic on the ground training and also cultural transformation by making data exciting for all stakeholders
  • Implements change management program for CRM as new ecosystem is built and created
  • Partners with marketing to identify new solutions and activation opportunities for data that achieve business and product goals
  • Leads budgeting and planning processes across brands and divisions and partners with senior leadership to ensure the right headcounts, organizational structure and process, and budgets are implemented to achieve tangible business results
  • Presents updates in senior leadership meetings
  • Leads ecosystem product road map development and capital budget design with IT to evolve the known customer ecosystem over time
  • Partners with programmatic, media, and data science teams to create data solutions that amplify performance of media based on known customer data
  • Champions and finds new innovations; oversees brand pilots and supports scaling of new solutions
  • Oversees implementing brand new known customer data ecosystem and solution including all transition elements (in partnership with project managers, IT, brands, and outside agencies)
  • Road maps priorities and opportunities to drive alignment and create clarity across stakeholders
