Accounting Lead
L'Oréal Hellas is looking to hire a successful Accounting Lead to join our Finance Team.
As an Accounting Lead, you will have the opportunity to participate in various projects and cooperate with different stakeholders from local business and L’Oréal Group as well.
You will report to Company’s Accounting & Treasury Manager who is leading the local accounting activities & activities performed by the L’Oréal Shared Service in Madrid.
Main responsibilities/objectives:
•Trial balance/general balance reconciliation statements and justifications of accounts within the required deadlines.
•Οrganize financial data & ledgers into useable information and maintain updated records for tax purposes.
•Assist on consolidation reporting and end-of-year local accounts as well.
•Be responsible for rollout ‘’My Data project’’ for Greek subsidiary.
•Support on continuous improvements of processes and work closely with other related teams (local & Madrid SSC).
•Works close with accounting (local,Zone,Group) finance ,tax & treasury teams to ensure info accuracy, alert risks/issues & provide solutions.
•Be responsible for the KPIs linked to processes he/she is in charge of.
•Check that the Group's accounting procedures and principles are correctly applied to ensure the quality and reliability of the Group’s accounts & management standards (GAAP/IFRS).
•Keep informed about changes in tax and accounting regulations and alert on changes they may generate in systems/procedures.
•Detects errors, anomalies, highlights discrepancies and implements appropriate actions, making the best use of tools provided by the Group.
The following criteria and skills are significant for Accounting Lead position:
•Class A signature.
•Experience 3 to 5 years in a similar role with Knowledge of accounting regulations and practices (Greek GAAP & IFRS).
•Knowledge of SAP.
•Excellent English knowledge.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
•Knowledge of SAP and strong computer skills required (Advanced Excel a must), enhanced systems literacy.
•Results orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
