Roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day "always-on" social media content and moderation of paid social campaigns for all @essiepolish channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and Snapchat)
  • Serve as the Community Manager across all social platforms by reactively and proactively engaging with fans, followers and consumers in a timely manner. Uphold the brand image by following persona guidelines for tone, while guiding the L’Oreal Customer Care Center team for customer service engagement needs.
  • Act as the social copywriter for all organic social content. You will be the voice of the brand in social in partnership with marketing and PR
  • Source content for monthly content calendar and manage execution of final content
  • Create real time content adapted for Instagram/Facebook to help support content needs
  • Co-manage Snapchat channel creating content on a daily basis 
  • Work closely with Senior Social Media Manager to maintain channel and social content strategies
  • Maintain relationships with Digital Influencers across social platforms to leverage brand messaging and reach Earned Media Value (EMV) goals engage & cross promote
  • Report on social KPI’s both weekly and monthly, covering all owned and top competitor channels with tools including SocialBakers and NetBase.
  • Utilize Netbase for trends tracking to inform larger Marketing team of opportunities to create nimble social content based on rising and declining trends in products, ingredients, etc.
  • Assist on Digital and Social Media shoots with duties including working with a photographer to capture stills needed for evergreen social content
  • Stay current on new social media platforms, tools and best practices with the confidence to present important developments with the internal team
  • Work closely with all departments across the brand to execute strategic, engaging social campaigns and experiential activations that require social support
  • Manage photo approval process with Olapic
  • Schedule and track content in Spredfast
