Urban Decay is seeking a AVP of eComm and eRetail to join our team in Newport Beach, CA


POSITION PURPOSE

Strategize and plan growth of .com business. Support definition of an omni-channel Retail architecture that leverages all web properties to acquire and retain customers along all touch points of their path to purchase.  Fully control .com P&L to drive growth and profit. Work with online retailer accounts to strategize and plan online advertising and promotions to continue growing the Urban Decay business on their sites, so that each meets their yearly sales goal/forecast.  Support Brand Equity and elevates positioning via Urban Decay’s digital presences. Understand importance of brand positioning on key digital properties and plans assets and marketing accordingly. Maintain the product assortments on all retailers’ sites to make sure that all offer the newest products in a timely manner and delete/remove those which are no longer available.  Work with all Key Account Directors and FVPs on side by side calendars, and all requirements to synchronize online/offline efforts and avoid conflicts between retailers. Drive innovation via cross-pollination of ideas between Urban Decay.com and Retailers.com. Liaise with the Urbandecay.com and HSN Team to optimize leverage of each channel. Grow a dedicated Team of Digital Experts.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic guidance & and best practice to the countries, as well as provide assistance for localization of eBoutique & eRetail sites in the countries.
  • Lead the relaunch of brand master flagship eBoutique in liaison with the international / US digital team. Ability to work in complex corporate structure with different stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation for unique UD point of view in .com business
  • Ability to partner with internal and external groups to execute campaigns and produce results in all areas of responsibility
  • Experience in strategizing and planning .com business on global scale, provide strategic guidance & and best practice to the countries, as well as provide assistance for localization of eBoutique & eRetail sites in the countries.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Experience in strategizing and planning .com business on global scale

  • Familiar with executive level reporting and communication. 
  • Strong management experience to lead the existing team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

  • Bachelor’s degree and interest in the luxury industry. MBA is preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience managing a high volume business-to-consumer eCommerce and digital marketing.
  •  Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication/presentation skills
  •  Strong analytical skills
  •  Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  •  Ability to work independently within a rigorous deadline schedule
  •  Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
