The Franklin, NJ Manufacturing Plant, is L’Oréal’s Skincenter of Excellence. We produce some of your favorite brands, including CeraVe, the No. 1 dermatologist recommended moisturizer brand in the United States. Our plant operates 24/7 at high speed across a 450,000 square foot plant (+ 45% expansion).

What You Will Learn:

As the Manufacturing Cell Manager, you will direct the safe, efficient conduct of manufacturing operations to achieve 100% attainment of the monthly production schedule while adhering to prescribed quality control standards and ensuring that inventory objectives and new product launch date schedules are met.

You will lead people, process and systems across multiple shifts. You will supervise and train the production work force in methods and procedures that maximize the efficient operation and application of the means of production.

  • Manage production operations to achieve attainment of the production plan by implementing the short-term fixed schedule
  • Develop and implement improved work procedures that enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Recommend/implement capital equipment improvements to enhance the capacity, efficiency, and productivity of the means of production.
  • Observe “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP).
  • Implement L’Oreal quality assurance procedures.
  • Facilitate an effective employee/labor relations environment within the production unit.
  • Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work area and implement L’Oreal environmental programs.
  • Where applicable, manage supporting warehouse activities.
  • Manage and implement all L’Oreal policies and practices including, but not limited to, the Corporation’s Equal Employment Opportunity Policy, etc.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or required.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in major technical field or Management required, Engineering degree preferred OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required.
  • People leadership experience required. 
  • Multi shift experience preferred.
  • TPM/Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred. 
  • Excel experience required.
