Key Job Accountabilities:

Feed decision-makers with pertinent and inspiring information, external innovations and changes in development of the external world (in terms of competition, marketing, consumers, economics, regulations, society, technology, etc.), in a proactive, forward-looking and inspirational way in order to help them to construct and adapt their strategy in the short, medium and long terms.
- Implement a pertinent competitive intelligence strategy for the acquisition of international information (data, products, services, etc.) to monitor changes in development of the external world and anticipate future trends
- Carry out in-depth competitive intelligence of disruptive or/and technological innovation (including patents)
- Detect high potential innovation, decipher it and share it to inspire new development projects
- Continuously and dynamically target and select lawfully gathered information
- Analyse, summarise and put the information into perspective so as to identify the immediately operational ideas and/or actions
- Proactively alert decision-makers to help them to adjust the strategy
- Distribute the analysis in a short and striking way, suited to the receiving audience and at the right time

Main Responsibilities:

In charge of Makeup and Skincare competitive intelligence for China

- Watch & monitor changes in skincare and makeup competition moves, analyze and synthesize internal/external competitive data & information sources, put into perspectives in terms of important shifts observed in the market evolution and competition, highlight competitor watch-outs or/and product features with implications for internal innovation activities; 

- Spot new, different & inspiring innovations with high potential, decode its disruptive or/and technological innovation features, understand its consumer relevance in coordination with consumer insight, share and curate it to inspire new innovation projects and development projects

- Competitors alerts sharing:
Responsible of being sure that the competitive survey is current and that China review is done, corporate and get support from lab teams, ensuring the follow up

- In charge of competitors evaluation organization, follow up & synthesis:
Setting up priorities, building the evaluation plan with métier and ensuring the follow up

- In charge of the market visits:
Support our consumer centric efforts/ coordinating with CMI

- In charge of buying key products when requested (China and rest of the world) and maintain the stock of competitors’ products / coordinating with skincare and makeup lab teams

- In charge of creating key documents/synthesis for competitive intelligence and big meetings support; Provide key insights from competitive intelligence to contribute to innovation métiers strategies for skincare and make up


Requirements:

Over 8 years working experiences especially in consumer insight, marketing research area in FMCG;

Operational affluent various market panel data; Data analytical, with good strategic thinking;

Genuine interest and curiosity in product innovations, and in learning, comprehending scientific and technical knowledge.

Strong communication skill; a collaborator and integrator;

Good command of English;
