Summary:  Under the direction of the AVP of Education & Development, this position will be responsible for executing customer facing education programs/ Business of Beauty Programs as well as provide internal educational support to our SkinCeuticals Sales force. In this role, one must be able to guide the SkinCeuticals sales team in their ability to convey scientific information, selling techniques and best business practices to drive sales and grow the SkinCeuticals core business. 

Responsibilities

Training Delivery

  • Responsible for all details of the Business Of Beauty Program- management of materials, delivery of content, communication to the field, booking of properties while efficiently staying within budget.
  • Works closely with AVP of Education on content development.
  • Works closely with AVP of Education & Development on new product launch strategy.
  • Will assist the AVP of Education & Development in presenting at the National Sales Meetings and Manager Meetings- depending on program content, schedules, etc. as needed.
  • Provide post new hire training field rides to new employees and provide constructive feedback to Regional Managers to enhance new employee’s ability to be more confidant in their position.
  • Engage new hires in pre and post new hire training in “virtual classroom” training sessions.
  • Collaborates with the Business Development Manager and National Accounts Managers in providing exclusive training support to key accounts.
  • Demonstrate effective techniques for “suggestive service linking” and “linking service sales to product sales.”

  • Innovative Customer Outreach: (in collaboration with AVP Educ & Dev):
  • Regularly updates and innovates The Business Of Beauty Program and collaterals.
  • Engages customers in” The Science of SkinCeuticals: Skin Care Update”- webinars as well as newsletter quarterly.
  • Sharing of corporate best practices in a measurable manner amongst the organization. (Chatter, RFT Calls, Webcast Series, Webinars and etc.)
  • Keep abreast of competitors’ activities and actively share information and ideas that will impact future success.
  • Determine in partnership with sales leadership, high/medium/low performers based on quantitative and qualitative metrics. Create development plans for each tier and individuals in the top and bottom 10%s

Operational Responsibilities

  • Prepares monthly reports, which will include, but are not limited to, a calendar of training activities, a summary of feedback from trainings, ROI report and any and all corporate required forms such as expense reports.
  • Manages all materials for National Programs.
  • Assists in site and lodging facilities selection for all ISC programs, training or meetings, negotiate pricing, arrange training or meeting functions, etc., adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Meetings and Trade Shows:
  • Regularly attend meetings or conduct trainings in the Dallas and New York offices
  • Assists in the preparation and conduct of the annual sales meeting.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2+ years as a top sales representative
  • Minimum 5-7 years hands-on training experience and/or equivalent related work and educational experience.
  • Must be able to travel 60%-70%. Position requires national coverage with large quantities of time spent “in the field” training. Additional travel will include corporate training sessions, sales meetings, trade shows, corporate office as necessary to meet the training objectives and business needs of account executives and accounts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word.
  • Valid US drivers’ license.
