General Direction of Operations (DGO) of L'Oreal Group is looking for an INNOVATIVE, COLLABORATIVE and PASSIONATE professional to become

MARKETING SERVICES PROCUREMENT MANAGER, Active Cosmetics Division International (Global Indirect Procurement team).



  • Full responsibility for procurement of marketing services within Active Cosmetics Division (Vichy, La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals, Roger&Gallet, Sanoflore brands) International (all countries excl. France)   
  • Analyses needs and manages demand: Anticipates major changes needed. Offers optimal solutions involving network / internal and external resources
  • Defines the purchasing strategy: defines the  suppliers portfolio the most adapted for the division
  • Optimizes costs: Catches innovative ideas through suppliers. Maximizes opportunities of added value with P&L impact. Activates all levels of the value chain using cost models
  • Acts as business oriented and proactive partner to business: Supplies the needs of the business and builds the category strategy. Encourages and promotes "best practices". Ensures competitiveness and successful implementation of the category. Uses sourcing strategies 'break' to create value (P & L and Top Line)
  • Maximize supplier’s relationship: Develops “preferred client“ relationship with strategic suppliers. Develops strategic suppliers to sustain the growth. Drives important projects with strategic suppliers, impacting P&L and top line.
  • Creates value and innovates: Creates opportunities of innovation from internal and external counterparts
  • Manages strategic projects: Manages costs and financial impacts. Insures commitment, communicates in the steering committee with sponsors and stakeholders. Takes key decisions.
  • Negotiates with integrity: helps and challenges the teams in terms of negotiating strategy.
  • Negotiates intellectual property licenses, exclusive agreements for Innovation.
  • Evaluates and manages risk: defines and implements a risk management policy. Implements methods and innovative tools for securing risks. Manages regulatory risks.
  • Driver performance and efficiency: Responsible for purchasing performance. Offers functional improvements in processes and tools. Gives recommendations based on the analysis of P & L of the supplier. Challenges logistics and finance managers when purchases are affected by other functions. Guarantees data quality
  • Supports and manages its network: communicates, manages projects and shares information providers with prescribers.


  • Desire to build a multinational career with a market leader
  • Strong Experience in marketing procurement
  • Around 10 years of experience in purchasing and minimum 5 years in Indirect Procurement with strong experience on marketing services
  • Experience of work in digital and advertising agencies is a plus
  • Communication & design agencies market knowledge
  • Strong negotiation & communication skills, contract risk management skills
  • Strong Project Management & presentation skills
