IT Cosmetics is looking for a highly motivated marketing expert with 8+ years’ experience to help drive best-in-class marketing and retail programs for IT Cosmetics. The Director, US Marketing will work closely with sales and global marketing to develop programs to support and grow sales. This is a new role with opportunity to grow and flourish within a company that currently represents a significant amount of sales growth in the US market.

    • Develop programmatic US marketing calendar for the Skincare category and retail partner, Sephora
    • Partner with cross functional team to develop marketing plans and institute 360 strategy for skincare brand launches and strategic initiatives
    • Communicate US themes and strategies working closely with marketing, sales and education
    • Partner with global marketing for category & retailer specific product needs
    • Align with digital marketing team (lives under the sales team) to ensure digital plans drive retail growth and support US plans
    • Work with global creative and copy for US specific marketing needs
    • Stay current on beauty industry marketing and social media news, constantly testing new ideas and platforms
    • Deep understanding of visual merchandising including but not limited to gondolas, POS displays, windows visuals, etc.
    • Proven leader in and implementation of traffic driving initiatives
    • Ability to ideate new and unique retail concepts and programs
    • Experience working with both specialty retailers (Sephora & ULTA) and department stores
    • Strong knowledge of retail marketing initiatives and programs including CRM, sampling, direct mail and eventing
    • Identify opportunities to continue to enhance the customer experience in store and drive sales.
    • Read and synthesize NPD data
    • Develop, refine, and improve marketing reporting and analytics to glean learnings and drive creative and business ideation, and to ensure programs deliver strong return for the brand 
    • Manage budgets for key programs
    • Thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape and ability to translate findings to positively impact business
  • Partner with other Director of US Marketing (managing other accounts)
  • One direct report with opportunity to grow the team

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • A Minimum of 8+ years of experience in marketing

  • Sales and/or retail marketing a plus

  • Beauty marketing experience within makeup and skincare a plus

  • Available to travel
