Sales Promotion Director – Fragrance

Promotional Planning / Allocations – All Fragrances

Work with Marketing and Field Sales to develop cohesive retailer programs and ensure timely delivery of sales materials.

•Work closely with Marketing teams to anticipate upcoming business/calendar challenges and communicate with Sales force, VP Sales Development and SVP Sales
•Analyze and assess promotion/event calendars to ensure overall account, brand and financial strategies are met.
•Issues and coordinates with all internal groups Fragrance timeline to insure that we meet retailer deadlines.
•Internal Conflict Calendar Maintenance and Coordination.
•Launch/Promo forecasts /allocations in alignment with strategic and financial objectives
•Oversee Fragrance allocation development and administration to ensure coordination w/sales targets. 

Allocations  GAF:  Promo/Sets, GWP’s, Testers, Samples and Collateral materials.

–By Account/Door based on sales plans and/or Marketing/Sales direction.
–Manages givebacks/E&O to maximize sell through and minimize returns
–Reconciles allocation requests and changes by account
–Monitors sell in vs. allocation
•Create priority ship lists for all promo and launches and coordinate with Field and Customer Service.
•Coordinates Field Planning and Supply chain on unit/retail pipe & seasonal flow for all new launches.
•Liaise with Supply Chain, Promo Ops, Marketing and PIM on all sku management and supply chain timing insuring that items are set up for properly for ordering.
•Tracks and communicates to the Field all promotional & collateral changes in timing/sku information/OM
•Manage usage of excess and obsolete inventory.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

•Supports Secondary Planning Manager on forecasting by sku/month for key secondary customers and controlling order flow based on inventory availability and divisional needs.
•Confirms demand/flow of Secondary and other Alternate channels of distribution to SVP Sales, VP Sales Development and Finance for Budget and Trend planning.
•Perfumania forecast and inventory management in coordination with Planning Manager
