KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain and improve market image of the brand
  • Growing our market share through in-salon & formal ( Tec Centre) trainings, demonstrations and conquests being the number one objective
  • Develop and secure new business opportunities for the brand
  • Initiate salon promotions and monitor sell-in and sell-through
  • Ensure that clients receive all related brand communications
  • Problem solving and general public relations for your brand
  • Manage route effectively , prioritise workload, sales objectives and targets
  • Manage all sales related administrators
  • Meet sales objectives and targets

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Sound numerical skills essential
  • Good negotiator with sound communication skills ( written & verbal)
  • Fluency in English & Afrikaans
  • Ability to write reports and present trade information
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
  • Team oriented individual - achieve objectives & sales goals
  • Must have own transportation with valid driver's licence and travel away from home for extended periods
  • Computer literacy - excel & word

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric or equivalent
  • Tertiary education or B Degree a plus
  • Proven track record in sales or training environment
  • Relevant working experience in large organizations or part of independent team that operates in a similar fashion
