The Professional Products Division Events team are seeking an intern to join their busy team.  You will provide effective support to the team on different events, ranging from 1-day seminars to larger month-long road-shows.  You would be responsible for your own live projects within the team, with frequent exposure to senior management. You will also be liaising externally with many influential stakeholders.

L’Oréal is offering one exciting role. The UK Events intern role involves establishing relationships with salons, key stakeholders within the hairdressing and beauty industry and internal staff. Your main role will involve assisting the Events Team with all aspects of putting an event together and delivering and running each event to a high standard. Our Events are key to creating awareness of our brand and products. The ideal candidate for this role would need to demonstrate a real passion for running live events, as well as a pro-active attitude and keen attention to detail.


  • Assisting with all organisational aspects of events such as the L’Oréal Colour Trophy and Fashion Week – this could involve, but is not limited to, liaising closely with top hairdressers and salons, organising travel and logistics for teams, sending out call sheets, tracking everything on Excel, ordering collateral/branding, booking venues and ensuring contracts are in place, assisting with the running of events onsite, liaising with artists, problem solving, etc
  • Research & Media: Researching specific events and ad hoc projects and reporting back findings and presenting to senior management
  • Trade Events: book rooms and manage the invitee lists for trade events and ensuring employees are receiving their invitations and any other communication relating to these events.
  • Budget management: Raising purchase orders, recording and tracking spend to ensure all projects are run within budget.
  • Administrative Tasks: updating and analysing data, booking and handling of complicated event logistics, sending out itineraries on time, writing letters, etc,
