Job Scope:

  • Develop market and consumer intelligence strategy (market and consumer intelligence, assessment of opportunities, consumer insight, methodological innovations, etc.) & provide analyses and recommendations to ensure proper consideration of the consumer into the make-up & hair care category’s growth strategy, as well as generate better understanding of return on marketing investments.
  • Analyze the country market data (panels, media plans, socio-economy, culture, demography, etc.), ensuring information quality and accuracy for the brand/category
  • Analyze the evolution of the markets, the sector and the competition’s activities
  • Organize an in-depth strategic watch (consumer, competition, new business models) & identify the major trends of the market to detect growth opportunities
  • Propose and formalize the scope of the market research projects (objectives, timeframes, human and material resources, costs), manage the relationships with external CMI agencies, ensuring the correct use and application of the Group's methodologies
  • Work together with the zone CMI teams to ensure that country data is correctly transferred and to exchange best practices
  • Take the role of adviser for marketing teams to develop their expertise and knowledge of the consumer
  • Construct and communicate concise and striking messages to the brand/category, ensuring their integration in key decisions
  • Manage market research budget


  • Possess minimum Bachelor Degree with economics or psychology background
  • Min 5 years’ experience in market research - working in research agency, FMCG & exposed to beauty industry would be advantageous
  • Microsoft Office literate: Word, Powerpoint & Excel
  • SPSS literate
  • Fluent in passive & active English
  • Highly adaptable & flexible
  • Well organized & detail oriented
  • Enjoys working with a lot of data
  • Passionate in beauty or has high curiosity in the beauty industry
  • Possess superb analytical skills & logical thinking – can think on his/her feet
  • Great communication skills & able to mobilize network
  • Possess good problem solving skills & thinks outside the box
