Full Case Pick Trainer

  • Responsible for demonstration and training newly hired temporary employees in the Picking & Replenishment operations using Standard Operating Procedures
  • Responsible for monitoring employees in the Picking & Replenishment operations to ensure correct procedures are followed
  • Perform root-cause analysis on quality-related issues arising within the Picking & Replenishment operations and take the necessary steps to address and correct, including revising procedures and re-training employees
  • Responsible for monitoring, following up, and working with department supervision on addressing and troubleshooting safe efficient, and effective certification of the temporary employees.
  • Contribute to documenting Standard Operating Procedures to ensure Picking & Replenishment processes are accurately and clearly documented
  • Revising and updating Standard Operating Procedures to reflect changes in processes
  • Be highly engaged in the L’Oreal EHS and Safety Policies.
  • Required to be involved in interpersonal and engagement issues with newly hired pickers in the Picking & Replenishment operations 
  • Must be a safety leader who sets the safety example and engaging in safe cultural practices
  • May be required to operate powered material handling equipment (MHE) Electronic Pallet Jack (EPJ) to move and stack merchandise.
  • Other duties may include Inventory adjustments, cycle counts,
  • Will Pick/Pack product and prepare products for shipment as required. 

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to train others and clearly articulate the picking processes
  • English proficiency: must be fluent in English, both verbal and written in order to train others and document Standard Operating Procedures
  • Count accurately and do simple math
  • Proven understanding of current Picking & Replenishment Standard Operating Procedures
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • SAP Experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional interactive and customer service skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Ability to shift priorities easily
  • Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety

Qualifications

  • Education:  High school graduate.
  • Experience:  1 year experience within a Warehouse PLUS experience within the L’Oreal/NYX Picking Operations
  • Lift up to 30lbs. Bend, twist, stand for up to 10 hours per day.
