We have a Marketing opportunity for the position of Group Product Manager of Garnier Haircolor. This is an individual contributor role where one has to define the strategic orientations and the 3-year marketing plan for the category, monitor the portfolio, media plans, promotions and ensure implementation of trade marketing plan. You should have minimum 10 plus years of brand management and sales experience. The location of the job will be in Mumbai and previous experience in FMCG or Consumer Goods companies - ideally in the beauty industry - is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will commit to the growth of the brand portfolio in the market
  • You will drive new product launches and push growth on pillar products through promotional and advertising excellence for a specific product group

Key Deliverables:

  • You will build Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and ensure robust execution and implementation
  • You will chip in to local adaptation of advertising creative material and analyse media recommendations
  • You will develop a keen understanding of consumers and develop market insights
  • You will analyse data on product category and make recommendations to top management
  • You will manage the budget for group of products and highlight issues
  • You will interact effectively with other departments and support marketing objectives
  • You will organise, develop and manage a strong team, train them and help them acquire an outstanding marketing expertise

Key Competencies:

  • You have experience with FMCG brand marketing and digital marketing
  • You have a great sensitivity to the Métier and in depth knowledge of our products / category
  • You pride yourself with your research and market data analysis skills
  • You muster a deep understanding of local retail dynamics, environment, competitors, market trends and consumers
  • Media efficiency and planning knowledge are your secret weapons
  • Your communication and presentation skills as well as your leadership and team management skills are top class
  • You are a dedicated person with a strong drive to succeed

  • Internal Interactions – Marketing, Consumer and Market Insights, DMI, Commercial, Finance, Merchandising and Zone teams
  • External Interactions – Agencies
