Key Job Accountabilities & Goals:
· Activate & implement global learning programs in the Americas zone
· Partner with Global IT HR Learning Team to help establish an IT School of Excellence
o Liaise with global HR Learning to identify, discuss, and review potential partners to support the agile learning mission (including LMS partners, apps, and other resources)
o Ensure curriculum for L'Oréal IT is best-in-class
§ Curate strong base offer of programs to establish participants foundational skills & understanding of IT concepts
§ Maintain existing content to ensure it is relevant (100% of programs are updated to reflect current IT trends and needs)
§ Maintain flexibility to add/delete programs based on employees’ needs and team bandwidth including the use of assessments to create programs and personalize training plans
o Help create case studies to highlight success and business impact of programs (monitor external requests for information as a proxy for success of external reputation)
o 100% in-target employee penetration
o Align with global IT team to ensure global consistency where appropriate
· Design and implement zone-specific programs based on Americas IT needs, ensuring alignment with the L’Oreal L&D philosophy and frameworks.
· Engage and Inspire employees through learning
o Foster a culture where learning is supported and employees are empowered to own their learning journey
§ Conduct ad-hoc check-ins with managers a minimum of 2x/year to solicit feedback and ideas to improve manager support of learning
§ Establish a more rigorous approach to employee communications from a total Learning perspective (with a focus on Learning for All) to improve employee understanding of the offer & professionalize the learning function
o Solicit participant feedback via online tools and participate in continuous improvement projects related to training or knowledge resources
· Help L’Oreal become a Fast & Agile Learning company
o Identify opportunities for self-directed/flex learning across the Learning for Transformation team
· Manage and improve the full cycle of training operations: coordinate yearly learning plan, courses organization, review and validation of participant profiles, reporting and metrics (scorecard), and vendor management
· You are not required to facilitate the trainings in full, though the opening and closing is usually made by you
