The Kiehl’s Account Manager is accountable for the Kiehl’s brand within Dillard’s, across the assigned market. He or she will be responsible for delivering sales targets while focusing on people development, product presentation, and the Kiehl’s customer experience.
The Kiehl’s Account Manager will lead and motivate a team of Kiehl’s Skin Pros and Counter Managers within their market, and partner with district and store management to grow the business. This includes but is not limited to on-going training and development of store teams, product and brand presentations, and successful execution of events and marketing directives while complying with company policies and procedures. To achieve these responsibilities, 80% of the Account Manager’s time will be spent in store, interacting directly with counter staff and store teams to ensure sales goals are met, educational best practices are demonstrated, merchandising is set to standard, and events are properly supported. This position will be based in Charlotte, NC and will cover a territory of approximately 30 stores on the East Coast.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive sales for all Dillard’s stores in assigned market
- Conduct productive store visits and timely follow-up
- Recruit, train and develop top talent and create a succession plan
- Deliver best in class communication
- Execute marketing calendars for all key events/promotions/new door openings
- Interpret merchandising directives to maximize space and sales as well as brand expression
- Actively participate in bimonthly webinars to share ideas on growing business and executing events
- Regularly execute in-store trainings to increase inter-sell and brand awareness
- Manage assigned budget for travel and work-related expenses
- Build strong partnerships with key stake holders in the business
Job Requirements:
• Self-motivated, results oriented, resourceful, creative thinker with ability to prioritize
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset; able to translate sales reports for opportunities
• Ability to see problems and develop action plans to overcome (stock issues, staff performance, turnover)
• Ability to collaborate with multiple business partners effectively
• Awareness of luxury beauty market, retail department store culture and the competition
• 3+ years of successful sales management experience in the retail beauty industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Ability to perform duties of the job independently and travel up to 70% of the time, including weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate L’Oreal fleet vehicle
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
