L’Oréal and its marketing team of a massmarket division is currently looking for a new team member to join our regional team for Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary!
As a Consumer Market Intelligence Specialist you will be responsible for:
Data crunching (50%)
Be responsible owner of key reporting tools
Consolidate all sell-out statistics
Establish diagnostics on the performance of L’Oréal within its parameters (brand, portfolio, category, etc.)
Consumer Insight (30%)
Identify the market and consumer’s major trends and market opportunities
Generate consumer insights, share them with the marketing teams and work with them to make the projects (products, services, communication) engaging for consumers
Organise an in-depth strategic watch (consumer, competition, new business models)
Formalise recommendations to feed the growth strategy of the business
Identify and monitor competitors' activity thanks to panel analyses
Determine the conditions and evolution of the market that may affect sales (competition, socio-economy, culture, demographics) and propose strategic recommendations based on these analyses
Market Research (10%)
Conduct the market research plan within its parameters (exploratory research, market research on products and existing services, projects in development, panels, etc.), propose recommendations, share them with the internal clients to ensure proper consideration of the consumer into the growth strategy of the business.
Carry out CMI studies, gather all existing data and research. Undertake in-depth analysis of the results to evaluate the demand for products and services.
Propose and formalise the scope of the market research projects (objectives, timeframes, human and material resources, costs),
Internal consulting (10%)
Take the role of adviser
Work with the internal clients (marketing teams, category management, digital, etc.) to develop their expertise and knowledge of the consumer and the generation of insights and market research.
Construct and communicate concise and striking messages for senior management, ensuring their integration in key decisions
2 years of experience in consumer market analyses or market research
Possess level of MS Excel, Nielsen Answers
Ideally at least basic knowledge of one statistical tool (eg SAS, SPSS)
Demonstrates expertise on all types of market research methodology, panel analysis, statistics and big data
Masters consumer, product and brand knowledge •
Great presentation skills
Influences business strategy and communication CMI analysis with conviction
