TM1 Technical Expert 




Context :

  • The IT Global/Group Business Applications Department of L'Oréal is looking for a TM1 Technical Expert for Finance applications.

Missions :


  • He/she manages the entire life cycle of the following applications

    • Application #1 – dedicated to TM1

  • Activities will deal with standard application management activities (bug fixing, evolutions, access rights management, demand / change management…) and related technical infrastructure (IaaS and on-premises)


Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitor incoming demands regarding these applications and propose solutions in line with the overall system capability, and create and manage a service catalogue for existing and new services

  • Define and manage the support services and supervise the application functionality,  optimizing the application development, its performance (from the "service catalog" or on request) and delivering the service in accordance with established SLAs, and taking proactive action to ensure a stable and secure application within its infrastructure and avoiding any potential service disruption

  • Manage implementation/release projects and participate in the key steps of the implementation

  • Define and review KPIs, metrics and SLAs and monitor performance

  • Ensure the corrective, evolutionary and technical maintenance of the applications; identify project risks and define action plans to mitigate; and manage escalations, crises and exceptional situations and define the emergency action plans

  • Produce documents and templates describing products, services, components of the application to establish compliance with relevant documentation requirements; ensuring they are valid and up to date and that functions and features are documented in an appropriate way

  • Participate in the selection of external suppliers as well as the outsourced services under contract; whilst managing the vendor contracts (Technical, Commercial and Legal aspects)

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships / communication with internal users and/or external suppliers

  • Coordinate the internal/external human resources within his/her scope of responsibility (roughly 15 external providers to be managed)

  • Ensure the development of expertise and know-how in his/her field of responsibility



    Required experience :

  • Significant experience maintaining a group wide application within strong service level agreements on TM1

  • Significant experience team management and budget follow-up

  • Significant experiences in Finance domain (controlling, accounting)

  • Ability to understand overall business strategy, long term user/ customer needs and translate that into IT Strategy
  • Actively listen to internal/ external customers and articulate / translate their needs into IT implications. Evaluate and challenge the customers’ demands to ensure their alignment with the defined strategy

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
